Glenn Michael Goldwasser of Cherryville, MO was born on Sunday, April 1, 1973, in San Fransico, CA to Dr. Robert Ellis Goldwasser and Beverly Dea Goldwasser, nee Spritz. He was found at his home in Cherryville, MO on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at the age of 52 years, 9 months, and 7 days.
Glenn was raised in Andover, MA and graduated from Andover High School in the class of 1993. He attended and graduated from Vatterott College, earning his HVAC certificate in 1996. Glenn began his career at Mar-Bal Inc. and later worked at American Precision Die Casting in Cuba, MO where he dedicated many years of service until retiring in 2025 due to health reasons. On July 15, 2023, Glenn married Karan Sue Duncan at Bonita Valley Dance Barn in Salem, MO. Together they shared a life full of laughter, adventure and companionship. Glenn was a simple man in the best sense of the word, loving, kind funny, and genuine. He had a gift for seeing the best in everyone and never failed to leave those around him smiling. His greatest loves were his family, his friends, and his beloved dog, Jessie, who brought him endless joy. A lifelong admirer of nature, Glenn found peace outdoors. He loved long walks through state parks, fishing, camping, and exploring Missouri’s beautiful landscapes. Some of his favorite adventures were trips to Dillard Mill, the duck pond in Steelville, Bass River Resort and Eminence, MO simply to soak in the beauty and tranquility of the outdoors. Glenn loved to talk, laugh, joke, and connect with people. His sense of humor was unforgettable, and his warm personality made everyone feel welcome. One of his well-known quirks was his absolute hatred of tuna which of course made it even more entertaining for his family to sneak it into meals just to tease him. Though easily startled, he enjoyed haunted river floats at Ruby’s Landing in Waynesville and Devil’s Elbow. He also loved rock music, good food – especially at Bandana’s or Sirloin Stockade -socializing at Spare Rib Inn and evenings spent around bonfires with friends. Glenn’s life was a beautiful blend of love, laughter, and simple joys. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, but the memories he leaves behind and the love he shared so freely will live on.
Glenn is preceded in death by his parents Dr. Robert and Beverly Goldwasser; and his dog Jessie, a longtime companion of 15 years.
